Testimonials for Unicorn Fibre Products

“Just washed a baby Huacaya alpaca fleece, then Suri fibre, and oh my goodness... the dirt that was released without damage to the fibre was just incredible! Then I re-washed yarn that I’d previously washed in my “former favourite product”... it was as though the yarn had never been washed before! No more dirt—only soft, luxurious fibre...”

“I'm sold! I washed two cashmere sweaters this weekend and they are absolutely irresistible. It’s fabulous. We definitely need to get this into the hands of people who will go ‘WILD’ over the softness.”

“I recently got back from my Level I class in Olds College’s Master Spinner Course in Davis, OK. Thank you so much for donating small packs of your wash and rinse as door prizes! I've seen your ads many times, but never got around to trying your products. I won a pack, and just used it for the first time on a 2 pound shawl I spun, knit, and dyed black. It worked beautifully! It got the excess dye out, and the rinse gave it a gentle soft fragrance and hand that were a delight to experience. Thank you again, and I look forward to purchasing your products, as soon as I can pick a retailer!”

“With Unicorn Fibre Wash fewer washes were necessary to get my fleece clean and the Fibre Rinse left a wonderful finish on both raw fibre and finished product. I was so pleased with the results, I sent a sample to the mill that makes my yarn.”

“I tried the Power Scour out on a Rambouillet fleece first. I figured this would be a good test. It washed clean with very little effort. I tried a good Romney next, using the very low end of your recommended levels, and it came out beautifully. I may be able to back down slightly more. It did a wonderful job with Cotswold, too. The wool came out feeling absolutely clean, but not harsh.

I read the comments about not using the Wool Rinse on wool intended for dyeing, so did not try it yet in my scouring sequence, but yesterday I did try some of it on some wool that I had previously dyed that had become slightly harsh to the touch. It did condition the fibres and left the wool feeling much better. I think this is a product to use very sparingly, but a little does a marvelous job.

Okay, I’m thoroughly hooked on your stuff.”
